Top-tier Midwest law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago intellectual property practice. The role will focus on counseling and litigating IP matters for a broad range of corporate clients across industries.

The successful candidate will lead matters, develop and manage client relationships, and work collaboratively with a team of IP litigators and IP transactions specialists. Portable business is welcome but not required.

Established partner-level experience in intellectual property law (litigation and/or prosecution/portfolio management)
Track record of managing matters and supervising junior lawyers
Proven client development and relationship management skills
Admission to practice in relevant U.S. jurisdiction; patent bar registration if prosecution work is expected
