Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago intellectual property team. The role will focus on developing and leading IP matters, advising clients on strategy, and expanding an existing practice within a full-service firm platform.

The successful candidate will manage client relationships, mentor associates, and work collaboratively with cross-practice teams on technology- and innovation-driven matters. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships are welcome.

Established IP partner with a track record of originating and handling significant matters
Admissions required in appropriate U.S. jurisdictions; strong litigation or counseling experience in IP
Proven client-facing skills and ability to grow a portable practice
Experience mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and collaborating across practices
