Leading global law firm seeking a partner to build and lead an interdisciplinary IP, corporate and technology practice from its San Francisco office. The role focuses on cross-practice matters including M&A and private equity, capital markets work, emerging-growth / venture-side matters, technology transactions, and IP litigation and counseling.

The successful candidate will join a growing West Coast platform and work with national and international deal teams on technology, life sciences, financial services and energy sector matters. This is a high-visibility role with responsibility for originating work, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior lawyers.

Established partner with a portable practice or proven originations track record in M&A, capital markets, or technology-related matters.
Experience handling IP litigation and IP-related transactional work, and advising on technology transactions and commercial agreements.
Proven ability to cross-sell to corporate and sector teams and to participate in or lead multi-jurisdictional deals.
Strong client relationships and leadership/mentoring experience in a large firm or equivalent environment.
