We are seeking a lateral partner to join a major international firm’s Atlanta IP team, focusing on patent litigation and related counseling for technology and life sciences clients. The role combines courtroom and tribunal work with strategic client advice across prosecution and licensing matters.

Ideal candidates will have a strong track record in patent litigation, including experience with Hatch-Waxman litigation and trade-remedy investigations (e.g., Section 337), as well as experience managing prosecution and licensing matters. The position involves client development, leading large matters, and mentoring junior lawyers.

This is a partner-track lateral role where a portable practice or demonstrable client relationships will be a meaningful advantage. The team offers high‑profile, cross‑border work and collaboration with specialists across the firm’s IP and litigation practices.

  • Established partner with significant experience in patent litigation and IP counseling
  • Demonstrable experience in Hatch‑Waxman and trade‑remedy/ITC matters preferred
  • Background in patent prosecution and licensing, with ability to supervise teams
  • Proven client-development skills and experience managing large, complex matters
