Apply in confidence →Leading national law firm seeking a lateral partner to join its New York IP practice with a focus on patent litigation and prosecution. The role will combine courtroom and regulatory litigation work with patent prosecution and licensing matters.
Work will include Hatch-Waxman litigation and ITC Section 337 investigations, as well as counseling clients on licensing and prosecution strategy. The team handles complex, high-stakes disputes across technology and life sciences sectors.
The firm is looking for a senior lawyer who can lead matters, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development; a portable practice or demonstrable client relationships are welcome.
- Established partner with significant experience in patent litigation, patent prosecution and licensing.
- Demonstrated experience in Hatch-Waxman litigation and ITC (Section 337) matters preferred.
- Track record of leading teams and managing complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
- Business development ability and willingness to bring or grow a portable practice.
- Active bar admission and strong academic and professional references.
