Partner — Intellectual Property Litigation & Patent Prosecution, Chicago

Seeking a partner to lead and grow an IP practice focused on patent prosecution and patent litigation in Chicago. The role combines courtroom and office-based work, handling counseling, patent portfolio development and contentious matters.

The team serves a range of technology-driven clients; the role offers responsibility for originating and managing matters, mentoring junior lawyers, and collaborating with litigation and transactional colleagues across offices.

Portable practice or demonstrable ability to develop client relationships is welcome.

• Established partner-level experience in patent prosecution and patent litigation.
• Proven track record managing complex IP matters and supervising teams.
• Business development skills and ability to generate or bring client relationships.
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or ability to obtain it.
