Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its San Francisco intellectual property team, focusing on patent prosecution and patent litigation. The role combines handling high-stakes litigation and managing strategic prosecution matters for sophisticated technology clients.

The successful candidate will help grow a busy IP practice, mentor junior lawyers, and work collaboratively across offices on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters. Portable client relationships or a demonstrable ability to develop new business will be viewed favorably.

Established partner with significant experience in patent prosecution and patent litigation
Strong track record of managing litigation matters and courtroom experience preferred
Experience counseling technology clients and working on complex IP strategies
Licensed to practice in California (or eligible) and able to work in the San Francisco office
Proven business development ability; portable client relationships a plus
