Partner, Intellectual Property — Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Intellectual Property practice in Washington, D.C. The role will focus on counseling and advocacy on complex IP matters, working with a national and international client base across technology-driven disputes and strategic transactions.

The ideal candidate will take a senior role in business development and team leadership within the office, collaborating across practice groups and helping expand the firm’s IP platform in the region. A portable practice or established client relationships are welcome.

• Established partner-level experience in intellectual property law (patent, trademark, copyright, or related counseling and litigation).
• Proven track record of originating or leading significant IP matters; a portable practice is preferred.
• Admission to practice in D.C. or eligibility to obtain admission.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills and experience managing teams on complex matters.
