Partner, Intellectual Property — Washington, D.C.

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. intellectual property team. The role focuses on patent and trademark matters, including contentious litigation and enforcement work across commercial and technology-related industries.

We are looking for a partner capable of managing and developing a portable practice, mentoring junior lawyers, and working closely with in-house counsel on high-stakes IP disputes. The team handles complex infringement and trademark enforcement matters; the firm is not seeking candidates who want a practice concentrated on consumer streaming-platform disputes.

• Established partner with a demonstrable patent and trademark litigation practice
• Track record of originating or sustaining client relationships and a portable practice
• Experience managing complex IP litigation and supervising junior lawyers
• Bar admission or eligibility to practice in D.C.; strong academic and technical credentials preferred
