A well-established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Austin office to lead and grow matters at the intersection of intellectual property, healthcare and life sciences. The role will focus on IP litigation work for healthcare and life-sciences clients, including counseling, dispute resolution and trial representation.

The successful candidate will join a cross-disciplinary team that handles contested IP matters and regulatory issues for healthcare-sector clients. This is a visible role with client-facing responsibility and opportunities to originate and expand business in the region.

Established partner with significant IP litigation experience, preferably involving healthcare or life‑sciences matters.
Proven trial and courtroom advocacy skills and experience managing complex, high‑stakes litigation.
Track record of business development; ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Active bar admission (Texas preferred) and ability to practice in relevant U.S. jurisdictions.
