Highly regarded US law firm seeks a lateral partner to bolster its Houston practice focusing on intellectual property litigation and healthcare/life sciences matters. The role will lead complex IP disputes, advise healthcare and life‑sciences clients, and work with cross‑practice teams on high‑stakes litigation and regulatory issues.

The partner will manage and grow a litigation team, take primary responsibility for case strategy and courtroom advocacy, and drive business development within the healthcare and life‑sciences sectors. The position calls for a senior litigator comfortable handling trials, hearings, and contentious IP matters.

Established IP litigation practitioner with significant experience in complex patent and related disputes;
Proven track record working on healthcare or life‑sciences matters (advisory and/or contentious);
Portable client relationships and demonstrable business development ability suitable for partner role;
Admission to practice in Texas or eligibility for admission; strong trial advocacy and team leadership skills.
