Seeking an experienced litigation partner to join a national U.S. law firm’s Des Moines office, with a primary focus on commercial litigation and labor & employment matters. The role will handle a mix of defense-side matters across healthcare, professional liability and construction-related disputes.

The ideal candidate will take a leadership role within the office, developing client relationships and working collaboratively with existing practice teams. The position offers opportunities to manage trial work and mentor junior lawyers while helping expand local and regional practice capabilities.

Proven partner-level litigation experience, with a strong background in labor & employment and related defense work (healthcare, professional liability, construction preferred).
Established track record of managing complex matters and leading trial or arbitration proceedings.
Business development ability or demonstrated potential to originate and grow client relationships; portable book of business welcomed.
Ability to supervise and develop associates and work collaboratively across practice groups.
