Seeking a partner to join and lead a busy litigation and labor & employment practice in the Kansas City office of a leading national law firm. The role will handle commercial litigation across professional liability, healthcare, construction and employment matters for private clients and businesses.

The successful candidate will manage trial and pre-trial work, mentor and supervise associates, and work closely with clients to deliver practical, results‑driven advice. Business development and a demonstrated ability to grow client relationships are key aspects of the role; a portable practice or existing book of business is welcome.

Established partner-level litigation experience with a track record in employment and commercial matters
Experience handling professional liability, healthcare or construction disputes preferred
Proven trial or significant courtroom experience and strong written advocacy
Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and lead teams; portable business welcomed
