Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its St. Louis office to broaden and lead trial and employment litigation matters across healthcare, professional liability and construction-related disputes. The role combines active courtroom practice with matter management and client counseling.

Ideal candidates will take ownership of complex commercial and employment litigation, mentor and manage associates, and work closely with cross-practice teams on defense and risk-management work in regulated industries such as healthcare and construction.

There is an expectation of business development — candidates with an established, portable practice or demonstrable client relationships will be prioritized. The role offers a platform to grow a litigation-focused practice within an experienced regional office.

Established partner-level litigation practice, with significant experience in employment/labor matters and professional liability or healthcare-related disputes
Proven trial and motion experience and ability to manage high-stakes commercial litigation
Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring skills for associates and staff
Track record of client development; portable business welcomed
