A well-established US law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Cleveland office to lead and grow litigation and labor & employment work. The role will involve handling commercial litigation and employment disputes, with frequent matters arising from healthcare, professional liability and construction sectors.

The successful candidate will advise institutional and private clients, manage trial and arbitration work, supervise associates, and collaborate across practice groups. Business development and relationship management will be a core part of the role.

A portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate and develop work in the identified sectors will be viewed positively.

Established partner with significant litigation and labor & employment experience.
Track record handling commercial disputes, professional liability, healthcare or construction matters.
Proven trial or arbitration experience and managing litigation teams.
Strong client-development skills and a history of originating work.
Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to obtain admission.
