Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago corporate team with a primary focus on mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions. The role will handle complex buy- and sell-side deals across a range of industries and work closely with senior partners and deal teams.

The team has an active transactional pipeline and is looking for a senior lawyer who can contribute immediately through legal experience and client relationships. This is a partner-level opening for candidates with a portable practice and demonstrable business origination or revenues.

Established partner with significant M&A and private equity deal experience
Proven track record of originating or managing transactions and developing client relationships (portable practice preferred)
Strong transactional drafting, negotiation and deal-management skills
Admission to the relevant state bar and ability to practice in Illinois or willing to become admitted
