Seeking an equity partner to join a leading international law firm’s Toronto corporate team, with a primary focus on M&A and a secondary interest in disputes work. The role is client- and business-development facing, handling complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

Successful candidates will bring a portable, substantiated practice and a track record of originating and executing mid-to-large corporate deals. The firm operates a non-lockstep, contribution-based compensation model with performance overlays for laterals.

This is a senior lateral opening; the team has been growing strategically in Toronto and is prioritizing candidates who will meaningfully expand the firm’s M&A capabilities.

Equity partner level (lateral partner) with demonstrable, portable corporate/M&A practice.
Proven originating capability and sustained client relationships; business should be documented and portable.
Experience on complex domestic and cross-border transactions; comfort collaborating with multi-jurisdictional teams.
Admission to practice in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction (Ontario) or eligibility to obtain admission.
