Leading national law firm seeks a partner to build and lead a privacy, data protection and regulatory practice focused on healthcare and technology clients in the Detroit market. The role combines client-facing work, practice development and team leadership.

Ideal candidate will advise organizations on privacy compliance, regulatory risk and data governance, including matters at the intersection of healthcare and software/technology. You will work across multidisciplinary teams and help expand relationships with existing and new clients.

Established partner with significant experience in privacy, data protection and related regulatory compliance (healthcare experience preferred).
Proven track record advising technology and healthcare sector clients on data governance, HIPAA-related issues, vendor risk and cross-border data matters.
Demonstrated business development ability and willingness to grow a portable practice or book of business in the region.
Experience managing and mentoring teams and collaborating across practice groups.
