Leading international firm seeks a partner to lead and grow its private equity/finance practice in Madrid. The role will focus on advising sponsors and corporates on buyouts, exits and related financing work across domestic and cross-border matters.

They are open to experienced partners as well as counsel or senior associates with a demonstrable portable practice who could move onto partner track. The successful hire will be expected to originate work, manage deal teams and develop client relationships.

Qualified to practise in Spain (or equivalent) with substantial private equity and finance transactional experience.
Proven partner-level track record or counsel/senior associate with an established portable book of business.
Experience leading cross-border buyouts, exit transactions and related financing structures.
Strong business development, client relationship and team leadership skills.
