Leading US law firm seeks a partner to join its Chicago office to grow and lead a real estate and construction practice. The role combines transactional work, contract drafting and negotiation, and strategic counseling for institutional and private clients across property development, commercial leasing, and construction projects.

The successful candidate will take a visible role on client engagement and business development, mentor and manage junior lawyers, and collaborate with cross-practice teams on complex matters. Partner-level experience in real estate and construction law (transactional and/or contentious matters)
Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships; portable business preferred
Experience managing and mentoring junior lawyers and participating in business development
Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills; admitted to practice in Illinois (or eligible)
