Leading German law practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Hamburg office to enhance its restructuring, insolvency and finance capability. The role will combine advisory work on insolvency-related matters with bank and creditor-side finance work, and involve leading teams on complex mandates.

The team advises corporates, lenders and stakeholders across out-of-court restructurings and formal insolvency proceedings, and acts on creditor remedies, debtor restructuring plans and financing solutions. The hire will have a high-profile client-facing role and contribute to practice development in Hamburg.

Established partner or counsel with significant experience in restructuring/insolvency and related finance matters.
Proven track record advising lenders, creditors and debtors on restructurings, insolvency proceedings and financings.
Ability to lead teams and manage complex matters from pitch to completion; strong client relationships and business development capability.
Fluency in German and English; admission to practice in Germany.
