Seeking a partner to join a well-established Toronto restructuring and finance practice. The role will contribute to growth of both lender-side high-yield/distressed debt work and debtor-side bankruptcy and restructuring matters.

The successful candidate will lead client engagements, develop origination opportunities, and work with a cross-border team on complex insolvency and distressed-finance mandates. A portable practice or demonstrable book of business is expected.

Established partner with significant experience in restructuring, insolvency and distressed debt (lender- and/or debtor-side).
Proven track record of originating and managing complex high-yield/distressed financings and bankruptcy-related matters.
Strong leadership and team management skills; experience working on cross-border matters an asset.
Admissions and experience relevant to practice in Canada; ability to develop a portable book of business.
