Leading regional offices are seeking a partner to lead and grow a shipping and aviation asset-finance practice covering the UAE and Saudi markets. The role will focus on asset-backed financings across aviation, shipping and related sectors, with significant exposure to cross-border transactional and dispute-resolution work.

The ideal candidate will advise lenders, lessors and sponsors on structured financings and be comfortable handling complex jurisdictional issues across the Gulf. The role combines fee-earning work with business development and team leadership responsibilities in a busy, internationally connected practice.

Established partner with a demonstrable track record in asset-backed finance, ideally focused on aviation and/or shipping.
Experience advising on cross-border financings and related security structures; familiarity with oil & gas and construction-linked asset financings a plus.
Substantial experience in international arbitration or handling financing-related disputes; must be a specialist rather than a generalist arbitrator.
Proven ability to generate and develop client relationships; a portable book of business is required.
Ability to work across UAE and Saudi jurisdictions and travel as needed.
