Partner — Tax, Albany

Established national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Albany tax practice. The role involves leading client engagements across a broad range of tax matters, mentoring associates, and developing a market-facing tax advisory practice in the region.

The successful candidate will work on federal, state and local tax issues for corporate and high-net-worth clients and collaborate with practitioners across the firm’s national platform. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a portable practice and help expand tax capability locally.

• Established tax partner with significant experience in federal and state & local tax matters
• Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice preferred
• Strong technical skills, excellent writing and client-facing abilities
• Bar admission and ability to practice in the relevant jurisdictions; history of mentoring and developing junior lawyers
