Established global law firm seeks a lateral Tax partner to join and help lead a growing tax practice in its Charlotte office. The role involves advising corporate and private-equity clients on federal and state tax matters, managing deal-related tax structuring, and supporting a team of tax attorneys.

The firm welcomes candidates with an established tax practice who can develop client relationships and collaborate across transactional and practice teams. There is flexibility to build a portable practice and contribute to local market growth.

Law degree (JD) and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
Proven partner-level tax experience advising corporate and transactional clients
Track record of originating or growing client relationships; openness to bringing a portable practice
Experience managing and mentoring junior lawyers and collaborating across practice groups
