The successful candidate will advise on tax implications of conventional and renewable energy matters, collaborate with transactional and finance teams, and play a visible role in client development and team leadership. This is an opportunity to join an established practice with national and international resources while maintaining or building a portable practice.
- Established tax partner with a demonstrable focus on energy or related infrastructure industries.
- Deep technical knowledge of U.S. federal tax law as applied to energy transactions and project structures.
- Proven ability to originate and maintain client relationships and drive business development; portable book of business encouraged.
- Experience leading deal teams and mentoring junior lawyers; excellent written and oral communication skills.
