Partner — Tax & Energy, Wilmington

Leading regional office seeks a lateral partner to build and lead an energy tax practice in Wilmington. The role will focus on advising energy companies and project sponsors on tax structuring, transactional tax issues, and regulatory tax matters across conventional and renewable energy projects.

The partner will join a collaborative team, take responsibility for growing the practice, and work closely with corporate and finance colleagues on cross-practice matters. A portable practice or demonstrable business development capability is welcome.

• Established partner-level experience in tax, with a focus on energy and project-related tax work.
• Strong transactional and advisory tax background (structuring, tax due diligence, tax aspects of financings and M&A).
• Proven client development skills and ability to grow a portable practice or cultivate new business.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and team leadership skills; active bar admission in the US.
