Partner — Tax & Estate Planning — Long Island (Garden City)

Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow its Tax and Estate Planning practice in the Garden City / Long Island office. This role will focus on advising high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses on estate, gift and wealth transfer planning, and related tax matters.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team and will be expected to develop client relationships, work cross‑practice on sophisticated matters, and mentor junior lawyers. The office offers significant platform support and national referral opportunities.

• Proven partner‑level experience in tax and estate planning (private client work, trusts, estates, gift/estate tax planning)
• Bar admission in New York and strong regional client network
• Record of business development and ability to cultivate or bring a portable practice
• Experience supervising associates and collaborating with related practice groups (e.g., corporate, litigation, tax controversy)
