Partner — Tax & Litigation, Los Angeles

Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a tax-focused litigation practice from its Los Angeles office. The role combines contested tax matters with related civil litigation work, handling disputes from pre-litigation through trial and appeals.

The successful candidate will manage client relationships, supervise associates, and collaborate with cross-practice teams on complex matters. There is scope to build a portable practice and contribute to business development initiatives in the region.

• Proven partner-level experience in tax controversy and tax litigation matters.
• Track record of managing litigation teams and handling trials and appeals.
• Strong client-development skills; openness to bringing or building a portable practice.
• Admission to practice in California (or eligibility) and excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
