Leading US law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Milwaukee office to lead and grow a tax and tax-related litigation practice. The role combines courtroom and dispute-resolution work with high-level tax advisory matters.

The partner will handle contested tax matters, appear in trial and appellate settings when required, mentor and oversee junior lawyers, and work with cross-practice teams on complex client engagements. A portable practice or the ability to originate and develop client relationships is welcomed.

Established partner-level experience in tax litigation and contested tax work.
Proven courtroom/trial experience and comfort with appellate practice.
Experience managing and mentoring associates and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong business development skills; portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate clients preferred.
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to obtain admission.
