Established national law practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Pittsburgh office to lead tax-controversy and related litigation matters. The role will involve handling trials, appeals and contentious tax work for a diverse client base across industries.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable litigation practice focused on tax disputes, strong courtroom experience, and the ability to develop and mentor junior lawyers. There is an expectation of building and maintaining client relationships; candidates with a portable tax-litigation practice are encouraged to apply.

Admission to practice in the relevant state(s) and good standing.
Established experience in tax controversy and related litigation; trial and appellate experience preferred.
Proven client-development ability and comfort managing a portable practice.
Track record of supervising and developing junior lawyers and managing matters from intake through resolution.
