Partner — Tax & Litigation, Spokane

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join and grow its tax litigation practice in the Spokane office. The role will handle tax controversy and related litigation matters across federal and state forums and will involve managing cases, supervising junior lawyers and working with cross-practice teams.

The firm is open to candidates with an existing portable practice or those able to develop regional relationships; modest portable books are being considered. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with opportunities to shape the practice locally and support a broader national platform.

• Proven experience in tax controversy and litigation (federal/state tax matters).
• Trial and courtroom experience preferred; strong drafting and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor associates and lead case teams.
• Business development capability; portable practice welcomed but not required.
• Bar admission in Washington or ability to become admitted.
