Leading national practice is seeking a lateral tax partner to join its San Diego office. The role will involve advising corporate and individual clients on a broad range of federal, state and local tax matters and working with cross‑disciplinary deal teams.

The position is suited to an experienced tax lawyer with an established practice who can handle complex planning, controversy and transactional tax work. The team offers national platform support and opportunities to lead client engagements and grow a portable practice.

Proven partner-level tax experience, including transactional and controversy matters.
Active bar admission and relevant tax credentials.
Demonstrable client development ability and capacity to bring or grow a portable practice.
Strong technical tax drafting and advisory skills; comfort working with cross‑office teams.
