The partner will manage and mentor a team, work closely with transactional tax colleagues and regulators, and develop client relationships across public- and private-sector clients. A portable practice is welcome; the firm is seeking someone who can contribute at the partner level to origination and client development.

Established partner-level experience in tax controversy and litigation (trial and appellate experience desirable)
Strong litigation skills: motion practice, discovery management, courtroom presence
Proven ability to lead and mentor associates and collaborate with transactional tax lawyers
Business development capability; portable practice or demonstrable origination record preferred
Active bar admission in California or eligibility to obtain admission
