Partner, Technology & Media and Entertainment — Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Technology, Media and Entertainment practice in the Washington, D.C. office. The role focuses on advising clients across technology, media and telecommunications matters, including commercial contracting, licensing, regulatory counseling and transactional work.

The team works on cross-border and US-focused mandates for corporate and institutional clients; the role will suit a market-facing partner able to originate and lead client relationships and collaborate with practice groups across jurisdictions. This is a senior role with significant client development expectations and opportunities to shape the practice in the US.

• Established partner with a strong record in technology, media and/or telecommunications law.
• Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships and to lead matters from pitch to execution.
• Experience handling commercial contracts, licensing, regulatory and transactional matters relevant to TMT clients.
• Excellent leadership, business development and team-collaboration skills; admitted to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction or able to obtain admission.
