Seeking a lateral partner to join a well-established national practice group focused on technology, media & entertainment and transportation. The role involves leading client engagements, developing strategic business in targeted industry sectors, and collaborating across interdisciplinary teams in the Chicago office.

The team advises a mix of corporate and commercial clients on transactional, regulatory and sector-specific matters; the position is suited to a market-facing lawyer who can grow and manage client relationships while contributing to firm-wide industry initiatives.

Open to candidates based nationally; candidates with an existing portable practice or demonstrable client origination in the relevant industries are encouraged to apply.

Experienced partner-level lawyer with a proven record in technology, media & entertainment, transportation, or closely related industries
Demonstrated business development and client origination skills; ability to bring and expand client relationships
Strong transactional, regulatory or commercial experience relevant to industry clients
Collaborative leader able to mentor associates and work across practice groups
Bar admission and standing in the relevant jurisdiction
