Leading US law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Austin technology and media practice. The role focuses on commercial and technology transactions, licensing, and strategic agreements for clients across technology, media and telecommunications sectors.

The partner will originate and lead matters, advise on complex tech and media deals, and help grow a regional practice. This is a client-facing role with responsibility for business development and mentoring junior lawyers.

Candidates with an established portable practice or demonstrable client relationships in the technology/media space are encouraged to apply.

Established partner with significant experience in technology transactions, commercial agreements, or media/telecom matters
Proven business development track record and client relationships (portable practice preferred)
Strong drafting and negotiation skills on licensing, SaaS/cloud, procurement and related commercial contracts
Bar admission in the relevant US jurisdiction or ability to become admitted
