Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Salt Lake City technology and media practice. The role focuses on technology transactions, licensing, and commercial agreements for clients across software, telecommunications and media sectors.

The team advises on complex commercial and technology-related matters and works closely with cross-practice groups on product, data and IP-related issues. The office is expanding and looking for a market-facing partner who can build and lead client engagements locally and regionally.

Portable practice or demonstrable client development capability is welcomed. This is an opportunity to join a well-resourced national platform with significant technology-focused work.

Established partner with a proven technology/telecom/media transactional practice
Experience drafting and negotiating software, SaaS, licensing and commercial agreements
Track record of client development and leading engagements; portable business preferred
Strong collaborative skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams on IP, data and regulatory issues
Active admission to a U.S. bar (or ability to obtain admission)
