A leading international law firm is seeking a Germany-qualified patent litigation partner to join its Stuttgart team. The role focuses on patent enforcement and defence across German courts and the Unified Patent Court (UPC), strengthening an IP litigation capability that currently lacks contentious patent coverage.

The successful candidate will lead client matters, develop and expand a portable practice in patent litigation, and work with cross-border teams on complex, high-value disputes. This is a partner-level opening for an experienced litigator with deep technical understanding and courtroom experience in Germany.

Qualified to practise in Germany with significant patent litigation experience.
Proven UPC litigation experience and familiarity with German infringement and validity proceedings.
Track record of leading cases, managing teams and interfacing with clients on strategic litigation.
Established, portable patent litigation practice or demonstrable business development ability in the patent space.
