International IP team in Munich is seeking a qualified patent attorney with a chemistry focus to join work on prosecution, validity and infringement matters across Germany, Europe and globally. The role offers early client contact and involvement in multidisciplinary, often cross‑border matters, including proceedings before the UPC.

You will work in an integrated team of patent and litigation professionals, be involved in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting FTO and patentability searches, and supporting opposition, nullity and infringement proceedings in the fields of polymer chemistry and biochemistry.

Completed university degree in chemistry or equivalent technical qualification
Admission as a German patent attorney and EQE qualification
Experience with EPO prosecution, oppositions and validity assessments—preferably in polymer chemistry and biochemistry
Strong analytical and drafting skills; ability to grasp complex technical issues quickly
Fluent German and very good English; team‑oriented and client focused
