Join a nationally recognised Planning & Environment team delivering planning, environmental consenting and advisory work across the UK. The role sits within a multi-office practice (Bristol base with regular work across London and other offices) and is predominantly focused on planning aspects of energy, infrastructure and major development projects.

You will work on consenting and permitting for large-scale projects, including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, compulsory purchase matters, environmental impact and habitats assessments, planning and infrastructure agreements, appeals and judicial review work. The team offers a collegiate environment with opportunities for client contact and career development.

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or eligible to qualify)
  • Experience in planning law, ideally with exposure to energy and infrastructure matters (NSIPs, CPO, EIA/HRA)
  • Skills in drafting/negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements and handling appeals and hearings
  • Strong client-facing skills, commercial awareness and ability to work in a multi-office, multidisciplinary team
