Practice Area Associate — Employment Litigation

Experienced litigation associates are sought to join a national employment practice advising employers on a wide range of workplace issues. Positions are open in multiple U.S. offices (including New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.).

The role focuses on counseling and defending employers on matters such as discrimination litigation, restrictive covenants, separations and severance agreements, workplace investigations, reductions in force, and employment-related compliance and diligence. You will work closely with colleagues across practice groups on cross-disciplinary matters.

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm employment group (management-side experience preferred)
• Experience drafting employment and separation agreements, advising on terminations and restrictive covenants, and conducting workplace investigations
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and litigation defense experience
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; experience coordinating with executive compensation or IP teams a plus
