Apply in confidence →National, multi-office law firm is hiring a Practice Development Lawyer (PDL) to support its Residential Property practice. The role is open at PDL or Senior PDL level and offers flexible working with travel to offices as required.
The post focuses on knowledge management, technical support and training for conveyancing teams, contributing to firm-wide practice development projects, producing legal content, and helping embed innovation and AI tools into day-to-day work. You will work within a collaborative team of practice development specialists and liaise with fee‑earners across offices.
Full-time is preferred but part-time applications are welcome. The role requires a current practising certificate and the ability to work flexibly across locations.
- Qualified solicitor with current practising certificate.
- Strong background in residential property law and conveyancing (sales, purchases, remortgages and related matters).
- Experience or clear interest in knowledge management, training delivery and creating technical legal content.
- Comfortable with legal technology and innovation, including practical awareness of AI tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices.
