Mid-level associate role on a national privacy & cybersecurity litigation team based in Washington, D.C. The team defends companies across industries in complex data-privacy and security disputes, class actions, and related regulatory matters.

The role involves handling privacy and security litigation in federal and state courts, supporting incident-response matters, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients on fast-moving matters. Candidates should be comfortable with technology-focused legal issues and client-facing work.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably with privacy, cybersecurity, consumer-protection, or class-action matters
  • Experience or familiarity with privacy- and security-related statutes (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, COPPA, BIPA, FCRA) and defending consumer and data-privacy claims
  • Exposure to regulatory investigations or enforcement (FTC, DOJ, state attorneys general, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong written and oral advocacy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Admission in good standing to the California bar (per posting)
