Private Companies Associate — Corporate

An established U.S.-based law firm is seeking a 3rd–6th year associate for its private companies team. The role focuses on advising early-stage and growth-stage, venture-backed companies and their investors on corporate and transactional matters across the company life cycle.

Successful candidates will join a growing national practice that handles venture capital financings, growth transactions and liquidity events. The team works collaboratively across offices and supports high-growth clients and investors.

• 3–6 years’ experience in corporate transactional work, with substantial exposure to venture-backed or emerging-growth companies
• Demonstrated experience on venture capital financings, growth-stage transactions and liquidity events
• Prior experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and excellent drafting and deal-management skills
