Private Companies Associate — Emerging Growth & Startups

National private companies team at a leading US law firm is seeking 3rd–6th year associates to join its growing Emerging Growth & Startups practice. The role focuses on advising early‑stage and growth‑stage companies and their investors across the company lifecycle, including venture financings and liquidity events.

Successful candidates will work on a national platform serving high‑growth, venture‑backed clients and will have opportunities to run elements of a practice, participate in speaking engagements, and contribute to the development of the firm’s private companies offering.

The posting includes an expected annual pay range of $260,000–$390,000 (final offers depend on location and experience). The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement and generous parental leave and other employee support programs.

• 3–6 years PQE working with early‑stage and growth‑stage companies (substantial hands‑on experience required)
• Demonstrated experience counseling venture‑backed companies on general corporate matters, venture financings and liquidity transactions
• Prior experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school; excellent drafting and client‑service skills
