Private Companies Attorney — Corporate

Growing national private companies practice seeks a 3rd–6th year associate to advise high-growth, venture-backed companies and their investors. The role is open to candidates able to work in the firm's U.S. offices, including Washington, DC and Northern Virginia.

Work includes counseling early- and growth-stage companies on general corporate matters across the growth cycle, with a focus on venture capital financings and liquidity events. The team advises clients across sectors and stages and collaborates with a national corporate group.

• 3–6 years of post-qualification transactional corporate experience, with significant work for early-stage and growth-stage companies
• Substantive experience on venture capital financings and liquidity transactions
• Experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
• Strong academic credentials from a recognized law school and excellent drafting and transactional skills
