Top-tier national law firm is seeking a 3rd–6th year private equity attorney to join its US private equity and M&A team. The role supports sponsor and portfolio-company work on buyouts, mergers, and related transactional matters, working as part of deal teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and ancillary transaction documents, and managing transaction workflow for fund and portfolio clients. The team values strong commercial judgment, clear writing, and client-facing project management.

3–6 years' transactional experience with a focus on private equity and M&A
Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase/merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and related documents
Large‑firm experience and excellent academic credentials
Strong drafting, analytical, organizational, verbal and interpersonal skills; client‑focused and able to manage deal teams
