Top-tier law firm seeks a 3rd–6th year private equity attorney to join a busy corporate team in Washington. The role will support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on acquisitions, dispositions and related corporate matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and ancillary transaction documents, and managing deal-related workstreams as an extension of client business teams. Strong drafting, writing, analytical and project-management skills are essential.

3–6 years of PQE with private equity and M&A transaction experience
Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase/merger agreements and LLC/LP agreements
Strong drafting, writing, analytical and organizational skills
Experience working at a large law firm and comfort working directly with sponsor and portfolio company teams
Excellent academic record
