Top-tier national law firm is seeking a 3rd or 6th-year private equity attorney to join its Corporate practice across U.S. offices. The role focuses on buyouts and M&A work for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, taking a leading drafting and negotiating role on transaction documents and ancillary agreements.

Candidates will work as part of deal teams, advising clients on transactional strategy and executing day-to-day transaction tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong academic credentials and prior large-firm private equity/M&A experience are required.

3 or 6 years' transactional experience (private equity and M&A focus)
Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and related transaction documents
Excellent drafting, writing, analytical and project-management skills; strong attention to detail
Comfortable acting as an extension of client business teams; strong commercial judgment and teamwork
Prior large-firm experience and excellent academic credentials
